Meet Dr. Andrew Zamora

Improving Smiles and Changing Lives

As a dentist and sole owner of Apple Tree Dental Center, I get the opportunity to have a lasting, positive impact on the lives of my patients. Whether I’m relieving them of pain, restoring their ability to chew properly, or helping to make their smiles even more radiant, I’m making their lives better.

Dentistry is more than fixing teeth: it’s building relationships and caring for the person behind the smile. My team and I work hard to develop a bond of trust, based on open communication and respect, with each patient. We want them to know we have their best interests at heart, and I only recommend treatment that I’d recommend to a member of my own family.

I am fortunate to serve a vibrant, diverse community. My patients come from all walks of life, and in a family-friendly practice, I care for toddlers as well as great-grandparents. Each patient brings their own excitement and stories to our office. I am honored when they choose to talk with me about their life, dreams, and experiences. I find I’m a more well-rounded person, and have a different outlook on life, as a result of listening to my patients ... and for that I am grateful.

My days are spent helping people I care about — people I consider to be friends — improve their oral health and their smiles. I cannot imagine a more fulfilling profession!  Most of my weekends are spent with my fellow colleagues attending ODA/ADA meetings, continuing education seminars, attending charity events and helping out at various places of worship.

Education and Continuing Education

I hold a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology with a minor in philosophy from the University of Kentucky. I continued my education at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and received my degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2002. Each year, I complete several hours of continuing education and training in the latest dental techniques, in the specialities of cosmetics, sedation, orthodontics and implantology. This ensures I stay current on advances in techniques, technology, and materials, and able to deliver the best care to my patients.

I seek out courses on a range of topics so I can meet all of my patients’ dental needs and goals. I’ve completed postgraduate courses in cosmetic dentistry, oral conscious sedation, implants, and orthodontics.

Beyond the Office

I grew up in Flemington, New Jersey, then moved to Kentucky to attend college. For the last several years, I’ve lived in Ohio and we have many family members living in this area. My wife, daughter and two dogs, now call West Chester our home. When I’m not caring for my patients, or studying dental advancements, I love to spend time with our daughter and enjoy fishing with my friends and family.

I’m close to my family and enjoy spending time with them in Columbus and Louisville, especially when we’re able to catch a football or basketball game! I’m also an active member of my church, and volunteer with several community charitable organizations.
